Java Walida Argopuro | natural

This exceptional coffee is grown in the footsteps of Mount Argopuro: a volcano
located on the northeastern shore of the island in the Situbondo Regency. Its
peak is a part of a larger volcanic massif that defines the eastern Javanese
landscape and creates an ideal environment for the cultivation of coffee.
Here, the villagers who grow the coffee come from Tlogosari Village, and together form the Pokmas Walida Cooperative, where most coffee farmers grow sit alongside crops like tomatoes, chili peppers, and ginger.

Tasting notes: juicy | fruit basket | sweets

Price is for 200 gr.

The coffee cultivation system is done traditionally so that it is still organic. The
fertilizers and pesticides used to pay attention to environmental sustainability,
such as the use of manure, cover crops using peanuts so that nitrogen needs are
met without the use of chemical fertilizers.

The harvesting process is carried out by selective picking of 100% red cherries.
Green beans sorting process is also carried out so that the seeds are homogeneous.
Quality standards are adjusted to the standards of the Specialty Coffee Association
of Indonesia (SCAI).

Natural Process: After being picked, the cherries are sorted by flotation, to then be
sun-dried on raised beds before being hulled and sorted using a “density sorter,”
and prepared and packed for exportation, to then be shipped.
